Family loss, and a new best friend.
I know I usually do not involve my personal life with the museum. But this was a defining moment this year. We lost the long time family pet Riley. We were so heart broken over this we adopted a new member of the family. He was saved from a high kill animal shelter. He is now a well loved member of the family! His name is Sammy.

Lego Crucifix
The founding family, the Christiansen's, were very religious.
The founding family, the Christiansen's, were very religious.
This piece was created, splicing both their religious prominence and their love to
create LEGO(r) toys.

I got the call today. This is authentic. I was wondering myself, but we checked with DENMARK and they have given us the thumbs up. We found a REAL piece of LEGO(r) history.
Hold on to your booty...here is Mr. Pirate.
For Old Hollows Eve...here comes Mr. Skeleton
Robot made by Eric Harshbarger
PLANET PROTECTOR ROBOT IS IN THE HOUSE!
English STORE DISPLAY.
ONLY 2 of each, and we now have 3.
Say HELLO to Mr. Biggles.
VERY SPECIAL, Unglued PROTO-Type
Aok people, this may not look like one of the rarist models I have...but it is. It is a un-glued PROTOTYPE LEGO(r) model. This puppy was saved from a dumpster by a LEGO(r) employee. This is a ONE OF A KIND, and special thanks to that person for saving him. I hate to see works of art end up in the dumpster. NOTE TO ALL LEGO(r) PEOPLE, SAVE YOUR STUFF. May not be worth a ton of cash, but it is ART WORK...save it!!!
BaseBall RHINO...in the Zoo room.
The Band called Plastica
Thanks to the class of 1986.
I am trying to upload some pics for the class of 1986, but my DARN BLOG will not allow me to yet!!!
Either way, THANKs for a great time. I did not want to remember High School. I could not wait to get out of the place and begin my life. But after 20 years, a midlife crisis, and JUST PLAIN curious nature I had to see the people and place!
I had a great time. People were nice, even some who did not like me at all in school!
Thanks for the interest in my lifes project. I was coming off some bad items that had soured me a bit. But the trip to LEGO was topped off by some wonderful support from my past peers! That was the boost I needed to get back to work, and get some more done!
If any of you are in the area and want to see how far we have come along. Feel free to E-Mail me, and I will give you contact phone numbers for a private tour. Or if your in the area in June 2007. COME TO THE OPENING. It should be AWSOME.

Small toys in LIFE SIZE SCALE!!!
This is one of the newer models coming to the toy museum in 2006. This little guy (yea...little 5ft tall) toured the country and ended up in a Toy Store. The lady who got it from the toy store was nice enough to sell it to us...and even helped on the shipping. He should be here in awhile, will have update pics when he arrives. Special thanks to Ardelle for helping us with the arrangements.
Re: Rabbit infestation
These cute little moving rabbits are going into the zoo in the museum. Look
for their heads moving when you visit.

BrickFest 2006.
Kudos to Joe Meno for putting on a great fest.
I think we did a good job showing off the pending museum.
Thanks for the donations, and keep them coming. We want the community of LEGO(r) to have complete recognition for their works.
If you are a person from the general public, below are pics from the museum.
If you are from the LEGO(r) community, pat your self on the back for a wonderful show.
I was proud to be there, and next year our booth will blow your mind.
ps: Also a special thanks for the creator of "RED MAN", he will be getting a layout in the coming days on his sculpture, and information for the public on its history.

5ft Knight guarding the gates.
This was won in a contest in Canda. Now he guards the gates of the Knights
room in the museum. Check out the sword. This guy is almost 5ft tall, and
completly built from brick!!!
It came from OUTERSPACE.
This 4ft Spaceship is the newest addition to the museum. Thanks to Matt for
a great packing job. Came in without a scratch. Totally lights up, and
mounts off a vertical pole at an angle. Not easy to do for bigger models.
